The Original Gasket Insertion Tool
A proprietary tool developed by Peter J Richardson is expertly crafted to facilitate the secure and safe insertion of RTJ (Ring Type Joint) or metal gasket between ANSI B 16.20 flanges.
The gasket sitting in the groove between the flanges is a ‘single point of failure’, necessitating meticulous care and attention to avert potential revisit.
Used for inserting SBX gaskets between flanges and then recovering the flange skillet. The handle “T” ID tag is broken off so that the diver can ‘squeeze’ the handle together to facilitate the removal of the SBX GIT.
